After graduating the University of Mexico and the State University of New York, Dr. Olin completed his neurosurgical training at Hartford Hospital at the University of Connecticut. He became a Diplomat of the Board of Neurological Surgery in 1986 and became a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Vice Regent for the International College of Surgeons. He served the Division of Neurosurgery as Assistant Clinical Professor at both Brown University and the University of Connecticut. He was Chief of Neurosurgery at Landmark Hospital in Northern Rhode Island as well as Attending Neurosurgeon at multiple hospitals in the Providence area. He joined Academy of Neurosurgical Physicians in 2016 in the practice of all aspects of neurosurgical care as well as pain management techniques.
